Affordable Singapore Hotels for Families

We’re planning an upcoming trip to Singapore and I was SHOCKED at the hotel prices for rooms that would fit all four members of our family. So I decided to make a list for you of the hotels I found that 1) Sleep 4 people comfortably and 2) are less than $350 USD per night. I hope this helps you as you plan a family trip to Singapore!

Affordable Family Hotels in Singapore

Holiday Inn Express (Clarke Quay)

Located in the vibrant Clarke Quay area, this hotel is ideal for families wanting easy access to nightlife, dining, and the Singapore River. It includes a complimentary breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and a rooftop pool with great city views. While rooms are compact, connecting rooms can be booked for families.

Holiday Inn Orchard

Situated near Orchard Road, Singapore’s shopping hub, this hotel is great for families who love retail therapy. It features a kids-stay-and-eat-free policy, an outdoor pool, and family-friendly dining options. Family rooms and suites offer extra space for comfort.

Holiday Inn Little India

Perfect for families exploring Singapore’s cultural side, this hotel is right in the heart of Little India, close to MRT stations and shopping malls. It offers a rooftop pool, spacious rooms, and family-friendly dining options. Family suites provide extra room for children.

YMCA @ One Orchard

An affordable option in a prime Orchard Road location, YMCA offers clean, comfortable rooms and a rooftop pool. It’s close to Fort Canning Park and the National Museum, making it great for families interested in history and nature. Family rooms accommodate more guests comfortably.

Orchard Rendezvous Hotel by Far East Hospitality

Located at the end of Orchard Road, this hotel offers easy access to shopping malls and dining options. Families can enjoy the outdoor pool, and there are connecting rooms and family suites available for larger groups. The hotel’s proximity to the Singapore Botanic Gardens makes it perfect for family outings.

Habyt

Habyt offers a range of co-living spaces with flexible terms, ideal for families seeking extended stays. Located in various neighborhoods, these spaces often come with kitchenettes, communal areas, and laundry facilities. They provide a homey atmosphere with easy access to local amenities and public transport.

Furama City Centre

Situated in Chinatown, Furama City Centre is perfect for families interested in exploring cultural sites and enjoying local cuisine. The hotel features spacious family rooms, an outdoor pool, and a kids’ play area. Its central location offers easy access to public transport and attractions like Clarke Quay and Marina Bay.

Alma House

A boutique serviced accommodation near River Valley, Alma House is perfect for families looking for a cozy, home-like stay. It offers spacious rooms, kitchen facilities, and laundry services, making it ideal for extended stays. The quiet residential location provides easy access to Orchard Road and Robertson Quay, with plenty of family-friendly dining options nearby.

Hotel JEN Tanglin

A stylish hotel near Orchard Road, this property is great for families seeking a mix of shopping and relaxation. It has a rooftop pool, bike rentals, and a family-friendly buffet. The Club Room and Family Suites offer more space for larger groups.

Tiny Pod (Gardens by the Bay)

A budget-friendly, capsule-style hotel near Gardens by the Bay, this is best suited for adventurous families with older kids. While space is limited, the location is fantastic for visiting Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Flyer.

Cube Family Boutique Capsule Hotel (Chinatown)

A unique capsule hotel designed specifically for families, Cube Family offers privacy with pod-style sleeping arrangements. Located in Chinatown, it’s near hawker centers and cultural attractions. Complimentary breakfast is included, and family rooms are available.

Mercure (Singapore Bugis & On Stevens)

Grand Copthorne Waterfront (Clarke Quay)

Set along the Singapore River, this upscale hotel offers scenic views, large family-friendly rooms, and an outdoor pool. It’s close to Clarke Quay’s dining scene but also offers in-house restaurants catering to all ages.

Grand Mercure Roxy (Marine Parade)

A great option for families wanting a quieter stay near East Coast Park, this hotel offers spacious family rooms, a swimming pool, and shuttle services to major attractions. The Katong area has fantastic local food and cultural sites.

ISA Hotel (Katong)

This boutique hotel in Katong offers family-friendly accommodations with easy access to local eateries and East Coast Park. Rooms are modern and well-equipped for families looking for a relaxed, non-touristy stay.

Vichaus Serviced Apartment

A serviced apartment option offering more space and home-like conveniences, Vichaus is great for families needing extended stays. Locations vary but often provide easy access to MRT stations and supermarkets.

LYF at Farrer Park

A trendy, co-living hotel near Little India, LYF Farrer Park offers modern family-friendly rooms with shared kitchen facilities. It’s great for families looking for a mix of social interaction and privacy.

LYF at Bugis

Similar to LYF Farrer Park, this location is in Bugis, offering stylish, apartment-style stays with family-friendly amenities. Close to shopping, museums, and public transport, it’s a great choice for an immersive city experience.

Airport Options

The Bus Collective

This unique stay has repurposed old buses into new hotel rooms. Kids will love the bunkbeds and being able to sit in the drivers seat to “drive” the bus. Located next to Changi Airport, this would be a convenient place to stay before or after a flight into Singapore.

Yotel Changi Airport

Not leaving the airpot or need a place to sleep while waiting for the next flight? Yotel has family rooms that are small but with comfortable beds. Get a family room with a double bed and bunkbeds so everyone has a cozy place to rest.

Additional Options

You can also check out some of the clubs in Singapore that offer hotel rooms like the Hollandse Club, Swiss Club or Singapore Polo Club. They all have rooms that are good value for money and you’ll be able to use all their facilities like pool, gym, restaurant and kids club!

While Airbnb remains illegal for rentals under 30 days, you can check out other sites like Trusted Homesitters (where you may need to take care of pets) or Home Exchange for other options for budget stays.

  • When is the last time you did something just for you?

This is your invitation to escape to Bali for a week designed to fill your cup, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with what makes you feel most alive.

This is not a retreat where you’re told to wake up at 6am and do yoga in silence. This is a week for women who are craving adventure, connection, laughter, rest, and a little bit of luxury.

We’ll explore the island together in a small group, enjoy food that nourishes, have deep and real conversations, meet inspiring locals, and stay in stunning accommodations that support rest and reset.

Think: oceanfront dinners, waterfall swims, slow morning coffee, meaningful community, and time to remember what it feels like to just be you.

Come solo or with a friend—either way, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

This is your time.

Our next trip is October 18-25, 2025 and $500 reserves your spot.

Spaces are limited to keep the group small and intentional and are filling fast.

Do you want to join us? Comment “Bali” and I’ll DM you the link to register.

  • Bhutan is one of the most unique, untouched, and rewarding destinations on earth—but it’s also unlike anywhere else. Whether you’re traveling solo or with kids, here’s what you should know before you pack your bags.

We booked our trip with @breathebhutan who specializes in family travel in Bhutan. We loved their ethos of crafting meaningful experiences for travelers in Bhutan that also benefit the local communities.

This trip isn’t easy with kids, but in our opinion, was definitely worth it. It taught them so many life lessons and gave us so much uninterrupted time together as a family. It has been fun to hear the kids recount their stories to our friends and family knowing these are memories they’ll have with them forever ❤️

  • We just got back from a country with no traffic lights, no chain stores, and no crowds—and it might be the most magical place we’ve ever been. ✨

Bhutan isn’t your typical family vacation. It’s peaceful, intentional, and deeply rooted in culture and connection. Instead of chasing sights, we spent our days hiking through pine forests, making butter on a mountainside farm, and receiving blessings from monks in ancient monasteries.

With limited Wi-Fi and no distractions, we unplugged—and reconnected in the best way possible.

This was an 8-day, 7-night journey through Bhutan, beautifully organized by @breathebhutan. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to match our family’s pace and interests.

And a huge heartfelt thank you to our incredible guide Kiran and our kind, steady driver Azha Wangdi—you made this trip unforgettable. 💛

If you’re craving a different kind of adventure—one that fills your heart instead of your itinerary—put Bhutan on your list. 🇧🇹💫

We just got back from a country with no traffic lights, no chain stores, and no crowds—and it might be the most magical place we’ve ever been. ✨ Bhutan isn’t your typical family vacation.
